Driven or Dragged?

 

This is Your Life. Take a look.

Where are You going and with Who?

Are You behind the wheel right now or throwing a fit in the back seat?. Lil bit of both? Cool.

What is it commanding each and every one of Your moves?

Drive comes from internal force. That engine sits inside and creates mini explosions propelling whoever and whatever wherever.

Drag comes from external force. When something has a hold on something else and produces more force in it’s own direction, it will drag the weaker force.

It’s one thing to have an engine.

It’s another thing to create them.

Satisfaction.

It will make us move almost instantaneously sometimes and other times create a glue under our asses.

Via Dictionary.com:”fulfillment of one’s wishes, expectations or needs, or the pleasure derived from this.

Synonyms:contentment, gratification, pleasure, happiness, sense of well-being”

Naturally, We are very pleasure-seeking. Experience has dragged me into the inner-standing that if Your motivators and motivations are not positive extensions of Your Purpose You risk focus. And focus is time. And time is only now.

For example: I have been externally motivated by physical pleasures from the opposite sex, food and attention. While instinctual and/or habitual, unfortunately for them, they did not meet my Purpose’s criteria for healthy, beneficial habits towards Purposeful Living and they gone! But I bid them farewell- at every second. It doesn’t stop. You must remember to apply compassionate, managerial pressure over Your focus continuously.

I have engineered a Purposeful Focus that engages my entire being.

The suffering I created for mySelf by allowing Pleasure to drive did not resonate with the Power-Filled Woman I knew I needed to be.

 

Though, On some occasions we find ourselves addicted.

This is a Physical, Psychological attachment to something outside of ourselves – a parasitic relationship. This is You being dragged.

 

 

Until somehow Your mindset shifts.

The how is Personal And Hopefully You aren’t too fucked up but You will be here, and that alone gifts You the richness of choice. Choose to wear that experience wisely, not slave at the memory of it.

All pleasure You feel is Physical. It happens within Your brain as a series of chemical reactions. Your brain is taking in information from all of Your senses all day and processing these combinations of collections. It forms opinions, reactions, responses – involuntarily, instinctually, socially, emotionally- to everything You experience, whether subconsciously or consciously -for safety and pleasure.

You must feel safest and most pleased as YourSelf.

 Accepting Your role in the dragging of Your potential builds character. You are the Hero You wait for!

This is the gateway.

Approaching predicaments already satisfied is an available option. The satisfaction is not with the circumstances but instead with You -Your Peace. This is not to be encouraging nor embodying of indifference, nor detachment. Inner-Peace can still appear richly as vigor, energy and passion, rebelliousness and submission.

Volunteering  the most effective aspects of You wont feel laborious in the midst of “A Gratitude Attitude” -which basically vibes like :You are Fortunate every second in this life experience. The now is Your gift, You are no “What If”, You are NOW and there are no rules with what You may manifest.

Productively and simultaneously driving away from _____ (the bullshit)and toward _______(some real shit).

The dragging energy must suffocate. It must dissolve out of Your existence before You can begin harnessing energy for propelling.

Late for work, low on funds and it’s raining. What could the day possibly have in-store?

Numbness is always a dead giveaway that Your emotions- energy in motion- are dragging You. You have NOW.

Engineer a Power-Filling Perspective.

New Year or New Fears?

I struggled in 2018.

Struggle: to make forceful or violent efforts to get free of restraint or constriction.

I quit/resigned/was fired from 4 different jobs in 2018. As I forced a dance with them – we struggled.

Bouncing from environment to environment in search of some comfort proved meaningless. Comfort had to come from within.

What is Your comfort dressed in?

Mine is dripping in Freedom. For me it is when I want for No Thing and No One and each breath is so sweet and effortless. In Joy all tasks sweeten to Purpose You’d honestly do for free.

So after accepting where I was, I began to work on it.

I showed up in each day, rain or shine believing and being grateful that who I was and what I had was more than enough.  I accepted 3 new offers, went back to school and started my own business.

Do You believe that Your design is Purposeful? I do.

Each struggle is for each breakthrough.

Should You choose to entertain fear, You will always play the fool. You will compromise Your Life entertaining it. It will settle in Your Spirit and spill over into all You are and it will grow, entangling You over time. It is no cradle but a strangle of self.

You are an Energy of Experiences. Your understanding of these experiences dictates Your influence over Yourself and Your environment. Understand that it is not each experience itself that influences You but Your understanding of it as a tool for You.

Each experience is Perfect.

You are here to grow. There’s no choice available for You to make that won’t lead to Your growth, some will just feel more convenient than the others.

The trick is in discipline but You’ve got to be realistic and engaged.

We find ourselves longing for “newness” so often with no garuntee that whatever we order/manifest in the Universe will even be satisfying to us. The only real satisfaction in this dimension is self-made & sustained in Your own Self/growth, for what is new will inevitably become old and what is Yours has always been.

Change Your internal views to value and seek peace in it’s personal forms. Avoid accumulating externally what’s “new.”

Be true and look to Your Light when- not if- it gets dark.

Plan to Fail

Nah, really.

It’s time for me to make some steps.

Easy to blame somebody else.

Not this time…. not this time… not this time..- Erykah Badu

Plan it out. First.

Get accustomed with the route to failure. What are those habits. We aren’t getting mad about it. Just visiting them. Just…. observing. …Studying.

Now plan to Win based upon not necessarily the opposites of the first plan, but via other choices.

Now prepare to win.

You can plan to be at work on time. You can plan to meet new people. You can tell all these wonderful adventures mentally to yourself as many times as you’d like. You will fail.

Get the shirt you’re going to wear to work tomorrow now. Now get the pants. Now the shoes.

Your Future is directly dependent upon your Now.

Play games now and you’ll lose tomorrow.

Think “I don’t feel like doing this right now,” and you won’t.

Observe how quickly you give in. Observe the style of this voice in your mind that you consistently give into. Observe.

By observing you cut the puppet strings.

The voices never shut up.

But they do become quite entertaining.

Embrace them through Observation and Prepare to Win.

Observe the wonders as they occur around you. Don’t claim them. Feel the artistry moving through and be silent. – Rumi

“Ice Cream Can’t give You Herpes”

Turning to food doesn’t solve your problems.

It creates more.

It adds to your weight and the work. By avoiding the problem and enabling mental, physical, and emotional anticipation, you encourage an addiction.

Your brain is busy as hell and anything it can put on auto-pilot – it will.

In coaching we will map out your daily, weekly, hourly and emotional habits in order to  identify your triggers.

We’ll prepare for your triggers and eliminate ignoring -enabling- them.

Your problem is not the food. Your problem is the core of why you abuse food. It’s why you won’t control yourself.

If you know you snack on chips and chicken breast when you get home after a long day- throw it all away and bring no more into your home.

We aren’t managing symptoms and enabling counterproductive behavior.

We are expecting and preparing for symptoms while targeting the core problem.

The key phrase here is “when you get home after a long day.”

You gave all day and now you need to receive.

What’s going to satisfy your need of need- not your symptoms. What can you prepare to have waiting for yourself after a long day that satisfies receiving.

Make a huge glass of water and/ or herbal tea, stay out of the kitchen, have a bath, read, sleep, exercise, paint, ,rest, take a walk, write, dance ….I could go on.

I encourage you to enjoy yourself -not stay busy. Court YOU. Give yourself options with your personal touch.

Your options are limitless. Focus on those possibilities and not the kitchen.

Speak kindly and romantically to yourself.

“I’m proud of you babe. Get your sexy ass home, take your clothes off ….and relax. You deserve it, your ass is bad.”

Praise your decision to work towards better for your self consciously and consistently. Make this a habit and get specific.

“I love how you stayed away from those cookies today and they looked damn good. You didn’t need them though, they had no power over you. You run this. You’re a boss.”

You attract what you are.

It’s not that you can’t stay out of the kitchen, you simply won’t go in the kitchen.

You have set standards for yourself.

Respect yourself by doing difficult things for yourself.

Be what you need.

Do not look for someone to see you in order to see yourself.

They will walk off with you too.

Good thing it won’t be the real you though.

The realest you will attract the realest them.

The very thing you’re feeding, is the thing that needs to starve.
