Mannn, Beans are relatively one of the most inexpensive Superfoods you can eat – organic, non-gmo, non-bpa lining, low-sodium, no preservatives or not- but preferably so babe.

These lil guys pack- on average – 15 to 17 grams of protein per cooked cup, with soybeans (I will touch on this controversial bean), finessing in at 28grams and Lima beans finishing at 10grams.
Beans encourage strong blood, lower bad cholesterol, increase good cholesterol, increase weight management by reducing hunger, lower diabetes and cardiovascular disease risk, lower blood sugar, reduce cancer risk and pack a sexy-ass combination of antioxidants, iron, magnesium, potassium, copper and zinc.
I personally love green lentils – 18 grams of protein per cup- curried up!
So Soy beans are pretty controversial due to something called isoflavones that mimic the hormone estrogen within the body. Now these lil actors also contribute to reducing cancer risks. But Dr. Sebi stated that they are harmful man-made hybrids and should not be consumed. Now if you think you’re avoiding Soy, that’s unlikely. It’s in a lot of cereals, baby formulas, breads, crackers, meat burgers, ground meats, deli meats, processed meats, imitation meats, gums, dips, peanut butters, bomb sauces (like teriyaki and soy of course), fish, soup mixes and stocks, frozen desserts, baked goods … I could continue. Most of the soy being produced is genetically modified and full of wild-ass chemical concotions like pesticides which contain carcinogens (cancer causing agents in the body) and hormone disruptors. Pesticides, Insectides, all them -ides are linked to diseases like diabetes, Alzheimers, autism, reproductive dysfunction, asthma … I could continue.
The choice is yours on Soy.
But stock up on the other beans. Studies on Latino mortality have found beans to be their source of longevity. Latinos are living longer than us all. Salute the beans.
If you’re getting them in a can go for no bpa-lining. BPA is a chemical that keeps metal solid without corroding and plastics strong. It is found in processed foods. BPA is linked to infertility in men and women, hyperactive, anxious, depressed offspring, heart disease, type 2 diabetes, asthma, liver disfunction, thyroid disfunction… I could continue.
Try to go Organic as well- we don’t want any ides.
Make sure there are no preservatives as well. Preservatives are chemicals that keep food “fresh.” What the Hell does that mean. Fresh, 100%, Natural, – these are descriptions to be on the lookout for.They’re used to distract you from Organic. It’s the best they have to compete, we aren’t fooled though. Preservatives are linked to cancer, asthma, allergies, headaches… I could go on.
